1. Youth house 'Epplehaus' in Tübingen has been aound for nearly 40 years. It was occupied in 1973, and was named after Richard Epple who was shot by the police one year earlier at the age of seventeen. He was drunk and driving a car when the police tried to stop him. He drove off and the police shot him with a machine gun believing he was a member of die Rote Armee Fraktion (The Red Army Fraction).
